Terms of Use
ALAGAYA-CGU-2026-10-27-V2
1. Access and account
Creating an Alagaya account is restricted to people aged at least 18. You declare that you are an adult, provide accurate information and protect your credentials. No identity-document scan or date of birth is required solely for this declaration; a specific legal duty may justify a proportionate check. Business representatives must be authorised. Acceptance of these Terms is separate from optional privacy choices. The privacy policy explains processing; it is not blanket permission to carry it out.
2. Alagaya’s role
Alagaya lets people publish and browse jobs, Quick Assignments and services, apply, communicate and arrange services and time slots. It does not employ the people it connects or perform their services. As a rule, it is not a party to agreements made between users. It currently does not collect payments for services performed between them. These statements do not remove its own duties or legal classifications arising from how the service actually operates.
The platform features currently open are free: Alagaya charges no access fee, booking commission or posting fee, and buying credits with money is disabled. Gifted credits may be used under the promotion rules. This does not mean that services or employment agreed between users are unpaid.
3. Listings and conduct
Listings must be lawful, honest, sufficiently precise and current. Fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, undeclared work, prohibited recruitment fees and infringements of others’ rights are prohibited. Applicants do not pay to obtain a job or have an application accepted. Providers state their actual status and hold legally required qualifications, permissions and insurance. A declaration, SIRET format check or caution indicator is not certification. Do not publicly expose private addresses or unnecessary sensitive or children’s data. Recruiters use received CVs for the advertised recruitment and comply with their own obligations.
4. Bookings, prices and cancellation
The provider accepts or declines a request. The summary shows the service, slot, price and selected options. Providers set the base price and duration; some options use fixed amounts and durations displayed by the platform. Parties check the total before committing; changing a time does not silently accept an extra charge. A direct contract may arise when they agree essential terms and intend to be bound, including through messaging. A calendar status alone does not determine this legal effect.
Parties specify their identity and status, service, price or calculation method, charges and performance conditions. They determine whether this is independent work or employment and meet the corresponding obligations. Traders give consumers the applicable information, terms and rights, including withdrawal and mediation. For a distance service covered by that regime, the general withdrawal period is 14 days after conclusion, subject to statutory exceptions; early performance requires the appropriate requests and information. Cancelling a slot does not automatically resolve termination, employment notice or statutory withdrawal. These Terms introduce no cancellation fee.
5. Ranking and credits
Results depend on filters, category, text, location and available data; offered sorts include recency or proximity. Distances are approximate. Offers may be featured in a separate placement, labelled as promoted with credits or featured free of charge by Alagaya, as applicable. Active promotions follow their scheduled period, a 15-minute rotation and distribution between providers; matching recommendations show at most two featured offers after checking relevance. Granted credits and their use may operate; purchasing them for money is disabled. This does not mean Alagaya processes service payments. These Terms introduce no future paid price.
6. Content, messages and translations
You retain your rights and, within their limits, authorise hosting, display and technical adaptations needed for the requested service. This does not include selling CVs or independent advertising reuse. Messages support service-related exchanges; end-to-end encryption is not guaranteed. Hiding an exchange for yourself does not necessarily delete another participant’s copy. Automated FR/EN/PL translations are available according to your choices; message translations are individually requested. The original remains accessible. Processing and translation choices are explained in the privacy policy and the translation notice accessible in the application.
7. Reporting, blocking and moderation
Use the application’s content or user reporting action, or e-mail support@alagaya.com without an account. To report illegal content, give its precise URL or identifier, your reasons, name and e-mail, and a good-faith statement that the information is accurate and complete, subject to statutory exceptions to identifying the notifier. Send only necessary evidence. You can block or unblock users through the available controls; this does not automatically remove evidence or history.
Reports are assessed diligently, objectively and proportionately. Depending on the facts, Alagaya may correct content, restrict its visibility, remove it, suspend or close an account. Acknowledgement, reasons, scope, duration, any use of automation and available remedies are communicated where required by law. Challenge a decision through the same e-mail, identifying it and explaining your reasons; appropriate human assessment is organised. Additional DSA safeguards apply where their legal conditions are met, taking account of applicable small and microbusiness exemptions. Legally required reports to authorities are still made. Alagaya is not an emergency service and promises no permanent general monitoring.
8. Closure, changes and complaints
You can initiate account deletion in the application’s security settings or contact support@alagaya.com. Closure does not automatically terminate agreements between users. Material changes are announced before taking effect with legally applicable notice; if the P2B Regulation applies, its safeguards and exceptions are respected, including the general 15-day notice for changes and 30-day notice for total termination by the platform. Existing users are not deemed to accept a new version without their own action.
Alagaya does not exclude its own duties or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. For a complaint about the free platform, contact support@alagaya.com; amicable and court remedies remain available. Consumer mediation for a paid service contracted with a professional user falls under that professional’s scheme, which the professional must disclose to the customer where required by law. Before offering consumers an Alagaya service in exchange for a price, the publisher must establish the information and mediation arrangements legally applicable to that offer. These Terms activate no paid offer and do not invent a designated mediator. French law applies subject to mandatory protections, without imposing exclusive jurisdiction on consumers.
